Biomil 2 Milk (6-12 months) Tin

BIOMIL® 2 is a follow-up milk for infants of 6 months and over. BIOMIL® 2 is a preparation, in the form of a powder, based on modified cows’ milk taking into account the nutritional needs of the child. Prepared in the strictest of hygiene conditions, the formula contains partially skimmed cows’ milk, vegetable fats and maltodextrin, to which a perfectly balanced set of vitamins and minerals has been added.BIOMIL® 2 may be used as a supplement to or replacement for breast milk should this be lacking or insufficient. As follow-up milk is intended “for infants of 5 months and over” and constitutes “the principal liquid element of a progressively diversified diet” (Commission of the European Communities, 1991), it must supply the elements that weaning food does not provide in sufficient quantities, i.e., proteins, calcium, iron, essential fatty acids, etc.BIOMIL® 2complies with the standards of the Codex Alimentarius, the recommendations of the European Communities and those of the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN).
